Workplace Violence Prevention: A Practical Guide

Dr. Bergmann, a licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Certified Trauma Specialist, founded Post Trauma Resources in 1982 when the Veterans' Administration awarded him a contract to provide mental health services to Vietnam veterans and their families. Prior to this time, Dr. Bergmann had extensive experience with various survivor groups.

In 1985, Post Trauma Resources expanded its services to non-combat survivors and also provided training in stress disorders throughout South Carolina. The agency provides more than 200 responses to potentially traumatic events each year to public sector, business and industry. It provides planning and implementation of trauma response and humanitarian assistance programs to business and industry. It also provides planning and implementation of violence prevention programs to business and industry.

Dr. Bergmann is the author of numerous publications.
