Mary Simon

Offshore Planning: Asset Protection, Business Opprotunities, Capital Preservation

Mary Simon received her LL.M in Taxation from Golden Gate University, her J.D. from the University of Santa Clara, and her B.A. in Economics from Colorado College.

Ms. Simon is the principal for the consulting firm Vigal & Simon, advising clients on strategic domestic and global tax planning. She is licensed to practice law in both California and Washington, and has practiced for over 25 years as a tax specialist certified by the state of California.

She has also applied her professional expertise in academe. She is a former Associate Professor of Law at the Graduate School of Taxation of Golden Gate University, former Visiting Professor in Taxation at the University of Santa Clara School of Law, and former Lecturer at the San José State Graduate School of Business.

In addition to her professional achievements, she has recently served as a speaker at various seminars and conferences about asset protection, trust law, as well as trust planning and management.

Furthermore, she sits on the board of editorial advisors for Offshore Finance USA magazine, published in Montreal Canada and also for the Private Capital Journal, a journal published in the Channel Islands.
