Specialty Technical Publishers is constantly on the lookout for new works to publish. We would like to hear from you if you have a completed manuscript or an idea that you would like to develop. All of our books are written with the following in mind:

· Text must interpret and clarify the legal aspects of current business, environmental, health & safety, and transportation issues
· Subject matter must have commercial appeal and be suitable for updating quarterly.
· Publications are sold by annual subscription, and produced in both loose-leaf and Adobe PDF formats.

If you have an idea for a work you would like to pursue with Specialty Technical Publishers, send us a current curriculum vitae with a description of your credentials and a project proposal. The project proposal should contain the following information:

· Overview: a brief description of the book. This should include scope, treatment of subject matter, how you plan to "update" the material, market, competition, as well as an estimated time frame for the completion of the work.
· Table of contents: a brief outline of how you intend to organize the work and the number of pages you anticipate.
· Major issues covered by the work: include questions the readers are likely to ask and the answers you intend to provide.
· List the legislation/regulations to be covered.
· Legal issues on non-compliance.

Should your proposal meet our requirements for consideration you will be contacted for an interview. At this interview matters of royalties, copyright, author's fees and other contractual issues will be discussed.

You will work closely with our fine team of editors, who are skilled in creating top-quality interpretive reference works. We have a proven track record marketing our publications and through your personal involvement in the training of our sales force we will identify and reach every player in the particular market your work addresses.

If you wish to take this further, please contact Steve Britten, Director of Publishing. steveb@stpub.com.
